Leprechaun Riches at bd9 — Hunt for the Irish Pot of Gold
Leprechaun Riches by PG Soft is a colourful and lively video slot where Irish folklore comes alive — green fields, rainbows and the leprechaun's pot of gold all combine to bring new possibilities with every spin.
An Irish Folklore Slot — Theme and Overview
Leprechaun Riches is a full video slot by PG Soft, where the classic characters of Irish folklore — the small green-hatted leprechaun, rainbows, four-leaf clovers, horseshoes, pots of gold and magic coins — are vividly animated across the screen. The whole game blends green, gold and rainbow colours into a festive atmosphere that is as enjoyable to look at as it is to play.
The game's reel grid is 6 reels and 4 rows — a 6×4 grid in total. This setup has 4,096 active payways, meaning wins are counted when the same symbol lands on consecutive reels from left to right, rather than along fixed lines. There is no need to count paylines, because the ways-based system can produce multiple winning combinations in a single spin.
PG Soft is known for building mobile-first slots — their games run smoothly on small screens and touch controls feel natural. Players from Dhaka or anywhere else in the country can enjoy this slot without any trouble on the bd9 app or browser.
From Choosing Your Bet to the Bonus Round
Before each spin, the first step is to set the bet size. In Leprechaun Riches, the bet can be increased or decreased within a set coin range. Once the bet is set, pressing the "Spin" button starts all 6 reels spinning.

How wins are counted
After the reels stop, the system looks for matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right across all 6 reels. Whether symbols are on the same row or at different heights — as long as they match on consecutive reels, a win is formed.
Wild Symbol
The leprechaun's hat or the leprechaun character itself acts as the wild — it substitutes for any symbol except the scatter to complete a winning combination.
Free Spins Bonus Round
When a set number of scatter symbols land at the same time, the free spins round begins. During this round, more wilds are active than in regular spins and multipliers can be added. The highest payout potential in the game lies in the bonus round.
Maximum Win
The maximum win in Leprechaun Riches can reach up to 2,500 times the bet — primarily when multipliers are active during the free spins round.
Which Players Is This Slot Suited For
Leprechaun Riches is a medium volatility game — meaning small wins come from time to time, and medium to larger wins also appear occasionally. The wait is not too long, but not every spin brings a reward either.
Budget: This slot works well for players who prefer small to medium bets. Rather than placing a large bet all at once, it is smarter to play more spins at a lower bet to work towards the bonus round.
Session length: Thanks to medium volatility, it is enjoyable in short sessions and also gives a chance to keep the balance going in longer ones. It is especially suitable for players who want a complete gaming experience within 15–30 minutes.
New vs. experienced: The rules are simple — new players will understand the game within a few spins. Experienced players can play more strategically by combining bet levels with bonus features.
Useful Tips to Keep in Mind Before Playing
-
Try demo mode first: If Leprechaun Riches is available in demo mode at bd9, use it to get a good look at the features first. Understanding how the bonus round triggers and how wilds work builds confidence before playing with real money.
-
Set a session budget in advance: Decide how much you are willing to spend in a session before you deposit, and commit to not going beyond that limit. With a ৳500 session budget, playing more spins at a low bet is more effective than fewer spins at a high bet.
-
Follow your stop-limit: Set a win target and a loss limit beforehand. Commit to stopping when you reach either — this is the most effective way to keep gaming enjoyable over the long term.
-
Be careful with auto spin: Auto spin is convenient, but it is easy to spend quickly. If you use auto spin, set a loss limit so you can take a break before your balance runs out.
-
Follow responsible gaming guidelines: bd9's responsible gaming page offers various tools including self-exclusion and limit setting. Use them when needed.
Make the Most of the Bonus Round
The free spins round in Leprechaun Riches is the most important part of the game. The higher the multiplier grows during the bonus round, the larger the potential win. When the free spins round triggers, track the multiplier and watch the result of each spin.
Free Spins Multiplier WildCommon Myths About Slots and the Real Facts
Every spin in a slot is determined entirely independently by a Random Number Generator (RNG). The result of a previous spin has no effect on the next — the game has no concept of being "due to pay" or "not due to pay."
How long ago or how often a win occurred has no effect on the next result. RTP is a long-term average only — it is not a guaranteed promise in any short session.
Increasing your bet to recover losses is called "loss chasing" — it is a harmful habit. Bigger bets mean bigger possible losses, and this approach drains your balance quickly. Setting a stop-limit in advance is the way to avoid loss chasing.
Playing within a set budget and ending a session when you have lost your limit — this is what keeps gaming enjoyable for the long term. Slots are a form of entertainment, not a reliable source of income.
How bd9's Other Slots Compare
bd9's slots section has hundreds of slots from various developers including PG Soft, Pragmatic Play, JILI and Hacksaw Gaming. Leprechaun Riches stands out from that list in a few ways:
6×4 grid vs. 5×3
Compared to slots with a 6×5 or 8×8 grid like Gates of Olympus or Sweet Bonanza, this one is medium-sized — not too small, not too large.
Ways vs. paylines
Using a 4,096 ways system instead of fixed numbered paylines broadens the winning possibilities and makes wins easier to follow.
Theme and graphics
In contrast to the Asian themes of Fortune Tiger or Mahjong Ways, the Irish folklore theme of Leprechaun Riches offers a completely different visual experience.
Medium volatility
Compared to the high volatility of Nolimit City's Fire in the Hole xBomb or San Quentin xWays, this game delivers far more consistent wins.
